I LOVE facial masks. I am a total sucker for them. I guess in some way I always hope that I am going to find a mask that instantly solves all my problems. A cure all for everything awful on my face like acne, wrinkles, dry skin, discoloration. “Poof” & GONE! Well, I don’t think that “Do All” mask actually exists, but none the less it is still fun to try all these masks.
Recently, on a trip to Walmart I came across the Spascriptions Glitter Peel Off Mask. I am going to be extremely honest, I didn’t even read the box about what the mask actually did. I just saw glitter and was like “Ooooooooooo sparkly” and bought it just because of that.
Ingredients:
Ok, let me drop the tea. This stuff is STIIIIICKY! I have used plenty of peel off masks in my lifetime and this is by far the most sticky mask I have ever experienced. I am talking Gorilla Glue for your face! I used the included silicone applicator to spread the product on my face (fyi it is not that easy to spread), but it was so sticky that it ended up breaking the applicator tip off. The product itself is pretty and fun to glob on my face. In all honesty though, who doesn’t want to spread glitter all over their face. The product feels cool and slightly tingly on my skin. Aside from some redness, it did not irritate my sensitive skin. I will be straight with you though….I don’t know what this product actually does to my skin. I mean I see literally ZERO improvement or change to my skin. Like NOTHING! I mean aside from basically waxing my face (did I mention is was sticky lol), it did nothing. I also should note there is a lot of alcohol in this product, so beware as alcohol on the skin can be damaging. So all in all, in my opinion, this product is a waste of your money. Luckily, it costs roughly $7.00 at Walmart, but even for that price point it is a FAIL!
