When you have an “At This Moment” obsession I think you just have to roll with it until you get bored with it. That is what I am doing when it comes to my facial products. Now that I am 30, I find that I have become obsessed with finding those holy grail products that will give me that goddess skin we all dream about! I have tried so many wonderful products and I have added many products to my routine in my quest.

One product I tried recently was the GROWN ALCHEMIST POLISHING FACIAL EXFOLIANT: Pink Grapefruit & Glucomannan Extract. This product was in my Fall 2018 FabFitFun Box

About This Product:

A gentle skin-polishing exfoliant formulated for daily use, to gently delaminate dry and dead skin cells and stimulate cell regeneration. Facial skin is left looking radiant, calm and smooth, perfectly prepared for moisturizer. Formulated with glucomannan from konjac to absorb oils and pink grapefruit to fight free radicals. Ideal for all skin types.

How to Use:

  1. Apply to damp facial skin, neck and décolletage.
  2. Gently massage in and rinse off with warm water.
  3. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact with eyes occurs rinse well with warm water.

Verdict:

After using this daily for over a week, I can say I have noticed little difference in my skin. I will say my skin is slightly softer, but I have noticed that my skin is actually more oily then normal which has resulted in some breakouts. The product itself is creamy and smells nice. Ultimately, this product reacted negatively with my skin. Although my skin felt softer, that doesn’t outweigh the fact my skin became oily and broke out. So, I will not continue with using this product.. which is a bummer.
