I have found myself lately to be increasing obsessed with lipsticks, liners and glosses. As of late, I have really been into having a minimalist look when it comes to my eye makeup and allowing the color and pop to come from my lips. So, I have been trying out a ton of different lip colors and looks. This lipstick duo was one of the products received in my Fall 2018 FabFitFun Box. It retails for $25.00 and is a dual lip combo. It contains a creamy, metallic gloss on one site and a glittery matching gloss on the other.

These colors can either be worn separately or as a layered look. Personally, I like the layered look best. I like the formula of this product. It is well pigmented and it is very lush and creamy. It isn’t overly sticky, but rather on the smoother side. I find the glitter gloss side does need multiple touch ups throughout the day, but the matte metallic side does have really good long-lasting color. I only had to apply this once in the morning and do a minimal touch up after lunch. It did not have the staying power of say LipSense, but it did hold up well for much of the day. The only downside is that if you want to remove this quickly you can’t just wipe with a tissue. You will need a makeup remover to get this stuff off. The matte metallic side will come off fully with makeup remover, but the glitter side will leave behind glitter and a filmy feeling even if using a makeup remover. To get my lips back to normal, I had to use a lip scrub to fully remove. So, that is a bit annoying to me.

Ultimately tho, it’s a beautiful color and lasts all day long. It’s a little pricey at $25.00, but considering you basically have 3 looks in one with a single tube, I think that is justified.

Have you tried the In Touch SOL Metallist Liquid Foil Lipstick Duo? What do you think?
