Fall is fast approaching! I still can’t believe how fast this Summer passed. As sad as I am about saying goodbye to Summer, I am excited about Fall. I love the cool crisp air and the changing color of all the leaves. I also love the return of everything Pumpkin Spice. I don’t know about everywhere else, but in New England the return of Pumpkin Spice is like a literal mania. People go nuts for it!
I decided since the return of Pumpkin Spice is around the corner, that I would share what seasonings it actually consisted of. I tend to make a big jar of it at the beginning of the fall season, so that I don’t have to keep mixing all the ingredients together every time I bake something.
What Pumpkin Spice Consists Of:
- Ground Cinnamon
- Ground Ginger
- Grove Cloves
- Ground Nutmeg
You simply measure out EQUAL parts of these ingredients. When I make a big mason jar worth of Pumpkin Spice, I will typically will do 4 tbsp of each ingredient.
I very much look forward to baking with my Pumpkin Spice seasoning and sharing all my recipes with you!
